This display
table is in the center of the museum and
contains a memorial to
Lt. Lawrence Cooper and Lt. Frank Cook
who gave their lives in the service of
their country. The center of the table
contains a model of NAAS Manteo. The
Model was built by the Navy during WWII.
Across the hall from the museum is the
"Dave Driskill Ready Room." A pictorial
history of Dave Driskill's career as a
true aviation pioneer. The Wright
Brothers brought aviation to the world.
Dave Driskill brought aviation to the
Outer Banks.
