Recycling Program to Begin at FFES |
 At
the invitation of a First Flight Elementary School student group, Dare
County Recycling Coordinator Carl Walker spoke to students about how
important it is to recycle. The FFES "High Flyers" is comprised of
student representatives from each grade level . They meet once a month
with FFES Principal Margie Parker to discuss ideas and make suggestions
about school improvement. The High Flyers suggested to Parker about
beginning a recycling program on campus. Thanks to teachers Lisa Beaver
and Julie Jarvis for organizing the logistics, and to Wal-mart for
donating trash cans for this project, this recycling program will soon
