Master Gardeners Series

STORM SURVIVORS

  • Introduction: Storm Survivors, which will discuss plants that have survived Outer Banks storms and hurricanes.
Start planning your spring garden now with the Library Garden Series presented by the  NC State Extension's Dare County Master Gardeners at the Dare County Library in Kill Devil Hills, and at the Fessenden Center in Buxton. 

Presentations will last approximately one hour, and people can choose to attend one or all of the programs that are of interest to them.   For 2017, we hope you will join us for some of our most popular topics from years past, as well as several brand new programs.

The 2017 gardening series will wrap-up with Storm Survivors, which will discuss plants that have survived Outer Banks storms and hurricanes.  Storm Survivors, will be presented on Wednesday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kill Devil Hills Library.

All presentations are courtesy of the NC State Extension's Dare County Master Gardeners Speaker’s Bureau, and are made possible in part by a grant from the Outer Banks Community Foundation.  All programs are free and open to the public, and reservations are not required.
