- Introduction: Composting Made Simple, will provide information about easy home composting. You will learn about the advantages of home composting.
Start planning your spring garden now with the Library Garden Series presented by the NC State Extension's Dare County Master Gardeners at the Dare County Library in Kill Devil Hills, and at the Fessenden Center in Buxton.
Presentations will last approximately one hour, and people can choose to attend one or all of the programs that are of interest to them. For 2017, we hope you will join us for some of our most popular topics from years past, as well as several brand new programs.
The 2017 series will kick off with Composting Made Simple, a brand new program which will provide information about easy home composting. You will learn about the advantages of home composting for the environment, the soil and your plants. Composting Made Simple will be presented at the Fessenden Center on Tuesday, January 17 at 1:00 p.m.
All presentations are courtesy of the NC State Extension's Dare County Master Gardeners Speaker’s Bureau, and are made possible in part by a grant from the Outer Banks Community Foundation. All programs are free and open to the public, and reservations are not required.
