Numerous Arrests After Task Force Watches Hand to Hand Drug Transaction

On September 21, 2016, Dare County Drug Task Force was working on an investigation and was conducting surveillance in a parking lot of a bar.  While they were working on an unrelated case they noticed a drug transaction take place in the parking lot.  They followed the suspect vehicle of the drug transaction as it left and conducted a traffic stop on it.  Nags Head Police Department K9 assisted and conducted a K9 sniff of the vehicle.  During the search an amount of Marijuana and Crack Cocaine was recovered.  Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and Dare County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Divisions assisted in the stop.  See below for arrest information:

Marcus Jamel Johnson (B/M, 29)
North Road Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909

Released on a $5,000 secured bond

Randy Lamer Lamb (B/M, 28)
Edgewater Drive, Grandy, NC 27939
Released on a $10,000 secured bond

Darnell Antwan Woodley (B/M, 25)
Beach Circle, Moyock, NC 27958
Released on a $5,000 secured bond

Johnson, Lamb and Woodley were all charged with Felony Conspire to Sell/Deliver Marijuana

Antonio Rishawn Taylor
(B/M, 27)

Newburg Lane, Jarvisburg, NC 27947

Released on a $20,000 secured bond

Taylor was charged with Felony Conspire to Sell/Deliver Marijuana and Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance

Justin Lewis Saunders (B/M, 27)
Colonial Beach Road, Jarvisburg, NC 27947
Released on a $10,000 secured bond
Saunders was charged with Felony Possession With the Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana and Cocaine.  He was also charged with Felony Conspire to Sell/Deliver Marijuana
