EMS to Host Open Houses May 22, 24 and 26
May 21 through May 27 is National EMS Week and to recognize members of the Dare County’s EMS teams who are ready to provide lifesaving care to those in need 24-hours a day, seven days a week, the Dare County Board of Commissioners have passed a resolution officially proclaiming this EMS Week here in Dare County. This year’s theme is “EMS Strong: Always in Service.”
To celebrate EMS week and demonstrate their service to the community, Dare County EMS will host open houses to showcase equipment, offer tours of facilities, perform blood pressure checks, and answer any questions about the County’s EMS system and how it protects our citizens and visitors. Members of the community are encouraged to come by, meet the crews, see the equipment up close, learn about the services offered by Dare County EMS, and have their questions answered by Dare County Paramedics and EMT’s. Bring the entire family out and enjoy learning about Dare County EMS.
