Older Adult Services is to enhance the lives of the older adults in Dare County and their families. Older Adult Services offers a variety of programs including volunteer opportunities, Outer Banks Senior Games, home-delivered meals, assistance completing tax returns, health screenings, recreational programs, transportation services (with advance notice) and arts and crafts classes. Older Adult Services Advisory Council - This Advisory Council meets to review and advise Dare County Older Adult Services. The Baum Center in Kill Devil Hills and the Fessenden Center in Buxton are the two facilities that coordinate the activities.
Nutrition Program: Congregate Site at Mount Olivet Church in Manteo and Meals on Wheels for Manteo and the beach. |
