The Dare County Sanitation Department, the C&D Landfill and the Transfer Station, the Buxton Transfer Station, and the Recycle Center located on Driftwood Drive in Manteo will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2010. 

THE TRASH COLLECTION SCHEDULE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

• MONDAY JAN 18^th —CLOSED
• TUESDAY JAN 19^th —Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, Colington, Buxton, Frisco, Hatteras
• WEDNESDAY JAN 20^th  —Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon
• THURSDAY JAN 21^st  —Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras

• FRIDAY JAN 22^nd  —Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon

Commercial Collection Will Take Place on Tuesday And Friday 

Please remember that summer hours for trash collection start at 3am so put your can out the night before collection.
