Completing the Application
To be considered for employment, you must answer all questions and complete all sections of the application. Please check for accuracy. Note, if you are applying for a position in the Health Department or Social Services a State of North Carolina application is required and not a county application.
Submitting the Application
The employment application and all related information must be received in the Dare County Human Resources Department no later than the closing date for that position. If a position is posted "open until filled" then applications should be submitted as soon as possible and the position may close without notice. Submission of materials is the sole responsibility of the applicant. Late or incomplete applications cannot be considered. Completed applications and supplemental materials submitted become the property of Dare County and will not be returned.
Application Review Process
The application review process begins after the closing date, Human Resources reviews each application with care and attention to identify the candidates whose qualifications, based on the application, most closely match the position requirements.
