Dcc Movie Day


The Dare County Center in Manteo will show "Unbroken" rated PG 13 with a run time of 2 hours 17 minutes. The movie is an epic drama that follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII-only to be caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. One popcorn and drink will be provided FREE for all movie watchers.

Hermitage Garden Tour


Let's take a Museum & Garden Tour! The Hermitage introduces guests to its variety of plants, the history and future of the gardens, and why they are referred to as living art. Following this tour will be a specially featured Origami Exhibition. This trip will be held on Monday, June 1st for only $21/person (not including lunch). Please call Emily Gould at 475-5638 for more info or to sign up! These are 45 minute walking tours, so wear comfortable shoes. The first tour is 10am, so we will leave the Baum Center at 8am.
