Dcc Movie Showings

The Dare County Center in Manteo will show " 42 Jackie Robinson Story" on Monday, July 21st at 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 30th at 12:30 p.m. Hero is a word we hear often in sports, but heroism is not always about achievements on the field of play. "42" tells the story of two men-the great Jackie Robinson and legendary Brooklyn Dodgers General Manager Branch Rickey-whose brave stand against prejudice forever changed the world by changing the game of baseball. This movie has a run time of 2 hours and 8 minutes. Free popcorn and drink provided.
