Dare County has chosen to
charge convenience fees as a way to fund the cost of the technology
required to deliver the online payment service and the cost of
e-commerce.
Effective 11/17/08, the
convenience fee charge for online Utility payments will be
$3.95 with a transaction cap of $400.00.
Payments via credit card
or debit card may still be made in person
at the Dare County Water offices with no fee.
