Effective May 4, 2009, and in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission’s “Red Flags Rule”, Dare County Water will accept credit or debit card payments only via our automated payment systems or in person. Our automated payment systems include this on-line payment site or our IVR telephone system which can be reached by calling toll-free 1-888-272-9829. The jurisdiction code for Dare County Water is 3955. A convenience fee of $3.95 with a transaction cap of $400 applies to both systems.
