2020 Filing Notice for Dare County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors

The Dare County Board of Elections will conduct the election for the Nonpartisan Dare County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Candidates seeking election to the Dare County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors shall file their Notice of Candidacy at the office of the Dare County Board of Elections.  

A candidate must be a registered voter of the county and must be at least 21 years old on Election Day. A valid NC Driver License or other photo ID is required for identification purposes.

A filing fee of $5.00 must be paid at the time of filing. Checks can be made out to Dare County Board of Elections.

Filing dates – Candidate filing will begin at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 8, 2020 and will end at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 6, 2020. All Notices of Candidacy, together with the proper filing fee, must be in the possession of the Dare County Board of Elections by the deadline to be accepted.

Soil and Water Conservation District offices on the 2020 General ballot include:

  • District Supervisor – 1 seat (4 year term)
