A Message from Chairman Woodard - June 26, 2020

Post Date:06/26/2020 4:04 PM

Following the Governor’s announcement on Wednesday that face coverings are required throughout North Carolina, local officials met this morning and agreed that for consistency and to eliminate confusion amongst the public, Dare County’s face covering requirement is now aligned with the Governor’s Executive Order 147

In the video, Woodard points out that there is community-wide spread of COVID-19 throughout all areas of Dare County and emphasizes how important it is for everyone to protect themselves and others - wear a face covering, practice social distancing and wash hands frequently.
