Public Computers & Internet Access

The Dare County Center offers free Internet access. Computers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • There is a 30 minute time limit when others are waiting.
  • Computer users can retrieve and save files from and to USB/Flash devices.
  • You cannot save files to the hard drive of our computers.
  • The CD-ROM/DVD drive is enabled, but executable files (.exe) will not run due to security permission restrictions.
  • Printing from the PC is not available.
  • Wireless internet access is available for people with their own laptops or netbooks.
